He says “I am glad you are always there for me”
She lured him in with a soft smile
She kissed his lips and he fell harder
He was glad to have his partner
His mind was blurry with lust
The sweet cycle will repeat
As he falls asleep with her next to his side
His lover, his friend, his brandy

Although this is from the perspective of a middle-aged man, alcohol and drug abuse is prominent in all age groups. The problem is highly likely to start during college years, due to the crazy party culture and binge drinking. Substance abuse is a large issue that is constantly being innovated to make it easier to get addicted to drugs, and more attention should be brought to it in order to stop this.
