summer golf
Every spring I wait for the summer and for the pollen to clear the air,
So I can go outside, golf without sneezing, and play without a care.
Summer maybe hot in georgia, so I set my alarm for 7,
Who needs a “good night's rest” when you can play 18 holes by 11?
The ground is still wet with the early morning dew,
I load up my clubs, with the first tee in view.
Golf is fun and an escape from all my stresses,
Without time to play, I become irritable and restless.
Many say that golf is boring, easy, barely a sport,
But golf makes me happy, my ideal vacation, who needs a resort?
