Broken Promises
As the days drag by,
I wish I could fly.
I hate this prison cell,
My never ending, living Hell.
WIshing I could take wing,
But to the ground, my feet still cling.
Stuck in this world,
A cold lonely girl.
Lost and alone,
Her heart holds no tone.
Stranded into her fear,
Wishing someone would hear.
With her broken heart,
Promises fall apart.
The blade sinks in,
Deep into her skin.
Her blood pours out,
But she does not shout.
It's what she pleads for.
Desires nothing more...
