Mirror, Mirror
Mirror, Mirror on the wall
Were you put there to watch me fall?
Mirror, Mirror on the wall
I will never be the fairest of them all.
“Thinner, Thinner!” I hear it scream.
Oh just what could that old mirror mean?
“Thinner, Thinner!” It must be just a dream.
Please, my mirror, why must you scream?
Crimson droplets running down my thigh;
Who knew it would give me such a high!
Now, thinner and thinner I become,
How long until it’s done?
Bones are now all I see
Now the mirror loves me.
Is this who I’m supposed to be?
Bones and Bones; will anyone love me?
I said “Goodbye” to that old mirror today
And once it was gone, I didn’t care how much I weighed.
I was breaking away
And for the first time in forever, I can say “I’m okay.”
