My Only Wish
I wake up at six thirty,
Then take a shower because I feel dirty.
Being tired in the morning makes me look like a ghost,
I become hungry so I go and fix myself some toast.
Eight O'Clock is the time I have to leave,
Being late is my biggest pet peeve.
As I gaze down my road, I spot a crane.
It swoops near the river and catches a fish.
I really hope it doesn't rain.
That is my only wish.
