Is it not amazing how wonderful things are?
With fancy new gizmos and shiny new cars?
And is it not obvious how some can’t afford them.
To live without nourishment, water and clothing.

But what about all of the wonderment in nature?
And the capturing of it by talented painters?
And what of the storms that kill by the thousand.
Wiping out stores and business and houses.

Well you forget all of the bright and the genus?
Giving us all of the things that they teach us.
What about those who can’t afford learning?
And then the diseased that doctors aren't curing

Well there must be something that can brighten your day?
Maybe cat videos or children at play?
And what makes you think there are reasons worth smiling.
Those cats have no purpose and children are dying.

Now stop both of you! You are both right and wrong.
This is why people can’t get along.
One of you thinks of nothing but pleasure,
While one of you thinks there is no merry measure!

While you both are right there is something, I swear,
Making you both alike, and you’re getting nowhere!
Thinking good of everything blinds you of wrong
And no good makes you think that everythings gone!

There is hope still left and there is bad out here
We need as a people to gather, not fear
We need a big change, and we need it right now
And normal people will start it somehow

But there is just one thing that I’d like to point out
About you, and us, and the whole as us now.
