To Him
What do I have to do? To make you understand my point of view. For you to stop being so invested in yourself. Listen to me, not just your own voice. Would you try to make me happy? If it meant for you to put me before you. Because I've been doing just that, handing out my happiness like a drug. Feeding the parts of myself that cannot be replaced. Letting pieces of myself go, that once meant something wash away in your fame. To realize that you were just my high school mistake. I lost my friends and drowned my life in a bottle of regrets. Your lies gave me something to believe in, until you realized there was nothing left to say. I've heard all of your lies all of your chopped up excesses. I will stop being a underdog of a boy that grew down instead of grew up. This way I can be proud of myself for standing up for myself, for once. What happen to that boy that had stars in his eyes?
