Writing an article
shouldn’t be that hard
was what I thought
until I made a start

I got a book with a pen
taking in fresh air
arranged my messy table
and sat down on my chair

Something is still missing
I couldn’t point it out
That’s when it hit my head
what to write about

As my mind begins to think
scattering thoughts all around
I feel lost amidst a room
where papers lay on the ground

It seems like a mission
whose accomplishment’s on stake
The battle is not yet over
So it’s a challenge that I take

Though it’s getting on my nerves
yet I won’t give up this time
So I let my words flow down
finally ending up with this Rhyme.

The author's comments:
I sat down to write an article for my college magazine on a either humorous or serious issue. But this was all I could come up with.
So I didn't submit and here it is.
