In a valley of long fingered grass
and sky a whimpering grey
sits a little lass
who is soaking up the day
she hums a silver note
clear, crisp, and clean
upon her all did dote
and her smile had a gleeful gleam
but her inside was different than out
all the sickly sweet words made her funny in the head
all she wanted was to scream to shout
but she could not, so she wound up dead

The author's comments:
I was sitting in class after the bell rang and I was felling bored and upset, so I wrote down this poem. It is contrasting to my personalty and that is one of the reason that I can't get it out of my head. I want others to read it because maybe they will learn something about themselves like I did.
