Lonely
Everyday I may act perfect.
And everyday you may believe,
That what you see is all there is,
But there's so much more that you can never concieve.
Looming lies behind made-up eyes.
All the secrets I keep deep inside.
Stories of long ago that you'll never know,
Some things are better left untold.
You wonder why I'm so hidden.
Because my mere existence is forbidden.
I'm nothing in God's eyes.
It's amazing that I'm still alive.
It's so hard to wake up everyday,
And know it contains nothing but pain.
And if it's not pain, then it's fear.
My face is always stained with tears.
Though I'm sorry to lay all this on you,
I know there's nothing you could do.
You probably don't even care.
You're like the others, pretend I'm not there.
So let's pretend this never happened.
We can still be fake friends.
Two people tied by false reasons.
And never share their true feelings.
