My Blunder
I was just walking,
When I caught glimpse,
Of you talking.
You made vigorous attempts, to
Get my undivided attention,
But I was too entangled to listen to you.
The wind felt like a vent,
That day blowing miscellaneously,
And there you went.
Now as I ponder,
I write cheesy poems,
And yet, I am still not somber,
I still muse about,
How the sun looks so flawless shining upon your hair,
And I still never doubt,
I’m still not too late,
To show you,
That we can start on a clean slate.
It was my blunder,
I’m sorry,
Like lightening you came before the thunder,
Then rushed away,
You didn’t have the opportunity,
To say,
What fate would bring.
Now I’m a bird,
With a broken wing,
Waiting for you,
But first,
Whatever you do,
You shall always know,
With you,
I shall always be in whoa.
