A Winters Day
A winter day is happy and pleasant.
It beckons to me... go outdoors.
Sprinkling the ground with white diamonds.
The wind runs across my face, playing with my hair.
The snow, perfect in its quietness, dares me to ski on its trails.
The flurries and I race along the trail, moving ever so fast.
Like everything else the snow cannot last.
It leaps and runs, trying to escape from the sun.
It used to laugh a high shrill sound, happy and pleasant.
But not now...now it knows it must leave.
It must bathe the earth with its liquified state.
It brings with it's end the coming of a new season.
