Spectacular Spain

My eyes open.
It reveals the bright sun,
flashing my eyes
I feel at home. Finally.
Running through the sand
a ball at my feet,
I feel like I couldn't miss a beat.
The wind blowing at my face,
running with the horizon, it feels like a race.
The palm trees towering high, effortlessly
the wind gracefully swaying them side to side.
The mediterranean sea within reach
They are free.
