My Family
A man in a house of five girls
whose wife and daughters are his world.
They’re blessings from above,
so he gives them his love
and thanks God for their smiles and curls.
Their mom was superb from the start.
She helped teach her girls to be smart
She treats them with care,
And she braids their hair.
She loves them with all of her heart.
The oldest, named Maddie, is bright.
She does homework ‘til late in the night
At school, she succeeds.
She writes, and she reads.
Her report card is one pretty sight.
Hi, I am daughter number two.
I’m Rachel, I’m glad to meet you!
As friendly as can be,
spreading joy and glee,
I try to be kind through and through.
The next little angel is Grace,
she spreads laughter all over the place.
The jokes that she makes
and the cookies she bakes
always bring a smile to my face.
The youngest one, Issie, is sweet.
She is such a pleasure to meet.
She’s adventurous and fun,
she loves everyone,
and she makes our family complete.
