Giving my life to the boys

The shots rang out, bang
Holding the weight of a gun
The trigger was pulled
I felt the regret
I touched the red oozing blood
The sirens rang out
The cell door slammed shut
Wishin I could take it back
Stuck in here for life
What was I thinkin?
I won’t last behind these bars
