He Creeps Throughout My House

I'll tighten my grip
Onto my stuffed animal;
And I'll squeeze my eyes
So these tears won't fall.
My lips are tapered shut, and
I'll feel them tremble;
Quicker as you will
Repeat your sentence several
Times, and I'll hear you.
I'll scream as you'll pierce
My soul with your vulgar threats.
I will toss and turn.
I won't forget the boy
Who will keep me awake. For
I won't sleep once more.
