My Love
I waited in a
freezing empty hospital
bed just to see you.
You were lovely: warm
as a summer day but still
mine; you felt like mine.
I don't see why I
was torn from you... why I struck
out at you, so cold.
I don't like being
mean by pushing you away
or yelling in class.
I don't mean to not
talk to you when you try to
say something to me.
I'm sorry I change
so constantly. I wait
in the bed for you.
Don't you know what I
have? I am bipolar. I
can't love right. Sorry.
