Dinner With You
April 24, 2023
Warm fizz down the throat
Our laughter swells, hands reaching
Love is dinner with you.

Excellent wording! Great work!
This haiku is about sharing a meal with someone you love, a romantic relationship. Preparing or eating dinner together can be an act of love and this is meant to exemplify that. I love the ambiguity that lays with the words "hands reaching" because it can mean hands reaching for more food, or eachother.
