Street Ball
The pavement is filled with cracks
the hoop is lowered
nothing but time and a ball
The sun beats down on the boys
sweat rolls down their face
a cool breeze blows through the air
The competition is fierce
the emotions rise
the teams fight with all their might
The sensation of a win
players filled with pride
the next game will soon begin
