The Vessel
It was carried in our hands,
in my heart,
In the air
And everywhere.
It was boundless,
Insatiable,
Reverant.
My love for you was a force of nature.
It fueled me,
Gave me purpose.
But then,
You walked out on me.
The love I once possessed for you turned to
Hellfire
As if a switch had flipped within me.
There wasn’t a second of sorrow,
Only unbridled rage.
My obsession over you never waned,
Until now.
It lead me to this point,
Standing over you,
And the emotion I felt for you flowed out of me
Like the blood from your body.
Problem solved.
