What do I love?
What do I hate?
Am I mean?
Am I nice?
Will I ever know?

I love animals.
I love sports.
I hate alcohol.
I hate drugs.
But what does that mean?
Do I really love and hate these things?

I lash out at my mom.
I lash out at my friends.
I help my mom when I can.
I help my friends when they need me.
Do these actions define me?
Do they make me mean or nice?

I’m not the same person I was last year.
I love what I used to hate.
I hate what I used to love.
I get angry for no reason.
I try to be nice to everybody.
So what does that make me?
