Human Nature
A heart of sunset tones-
Pushing blood through your veins.
Reaching all the way to your bones
Supplying your organs and your brains.
But what if no blood remains?
Stripped of our hormones-
But without any pains.
In a world full of unknowns.
Flowers blossom from within you.
Two purple daisies branch out,
Three yellows join the party too.
Then two buddings begin to sprout.
These flowers all grew,
Though sunlight they were without.
Arteries they pushed through
And persevered without a doubt.
For when true love is found
These flowers root into the ground,
But the butterflies that lie around,
Using the stomach as a compound,
Escape from underground
And reach the flowers’ scent- spellbound.
