Flower Power
When I’m in the shower
I wonder of a flower
It’s small and pretty
But different from another
I’m done with a shower
And I look for a flower
I find one just the same
For which I came
I see other flowers
Covering it almost completely
And instead of picking it
I pick the ones around it
As I go inside, I spot my dad
Nice flowers he said
As I looked all sad
And I explained their powers
As he explained it’s not nice
I countered with a fact
That they could have killed the flower
Which is their power
They entangled and intertwined
And caused the flower lots of tears
And now that I say it
They cause me some too
Because now I’m as bad as the flowers
And maybe ever worse too
