I first fell in love with you
when I was a little girl.
You are someone
To be with when I am
Alone.
You have introduced me
To new ideas,
New people,
New tragedies
And heartbreak.
As well as
To love,
Kindness,
And joy.
When the sun falls
My bed flys
To places only you have shown me.
Your words weigh thousands,
Yet they make me soar.
You are a genie who
Granted me endless memories
That will never escape me.
Forever like a windstorm,
Your words
And whispers
Will swirl in my head.
