Disguises
Every day I think to myself
what disguise should I wear today?
Not the scared disguise I'll look vulnerable
I don't want them to see the real me.
The real me is unbearable.
The real me has no purpose.
For the disguise that I wear hides
Who I Am
It's what I wear every day but take off every night.
acting like nothing was ever there.
It's only for me to be able to see
It shows everything about me.
It showed how young and dumb I was
How much I wanted to be something bigger.
