“Beware of the monsters
Beneath your bed”
But they never warn you
Of the ones in your head
“Don't talk to strangers”
What about the boy
Who's voice is like velvet
You didn't warn me I was a toy
“Sharing is caring”
Does that involve thoughts?
Sharing rude opinions of me
Makes me want to rot
“Boys will be boys”
Does that include
When they kidnap my body
And speak so crude?
Life lessons start young
Teach the real dangers
Friends would not be made
Without talking to strangers
