Nostalgia
Nostalgia is a funny thing
As odd as it may seem
How memories that brought love and joy
Are now gone and seem to sting
Because every bright and sunny day, and every single kiss
will eventually fade away, into nothing more than bliss
I remember making promises, of things that we would be
These are the things I miss the most
a room scarred with memories
Funny how it works
When good fades to bad
like when you eat the sweetest treat
and it leaves an empty plate
The moral of the story
There isn't one I guess
Just cherish every moment
And then simply digress

Nostalgia is one of the hardest things to discribe, and I hope this piece can do it justice.
