It’s merely been a fortnight
Since we spoke last.
Albeit , I can’t resist
dwelling upon the past.
I endeavor to pacify
my urge and desire,
to hear your alluring voice,
which sets my soul on fire.
I long for ephemeral
moments by your side.
As you elate me, and
make me grin wide.
I lost myself , my ardors,
my family and friends,
musing on our love,
dreading a bitter end!
