The Boy on the Ledge
The air was cold, altitude high
Atop the tower that reaches the sky
There stands a boy, scared and shaking
Hands clenched tight, heart so close to breaking
His mind buzzing with thoughts of worry and fear
He can't seem to recall how he got up here
As he leans over, a force pulls him down
He latches tightly to the railing, for one last piece of hope he's found
What a wonder he is, living life on the edge
A boy of danger out of fear is the boy on ledge
