We Are Country
We are the Boys of Fall
We are All American Girls
We are Homeboys
We are Troubadours, but
We are all part of The Drinking Class
That love our Southern Comfort Zone
We love our Chicken Fried
We love that Song of the South
Because This is How We Roll
We drive those International Harvesters
When the Thunder Rolls
Cause Rain is a Good Thing
And When We’re Going through Hell
We believe Jesus was a Country Boy
And When We Get Where We’re Going
We will be singing Amazing Grace
Because it’s just Me and God
And we also have those Friends in Low Places
When the Lights Go Out in Georgia
Cause Every Storm Runs Out of Rain
We know how to Bait a Hook
And we’ll sit there Cleaning Our Guns
While telling people, God Bless the USA
And wishing We Should Have Been a Cowboy
Why all these things you ask?
Cause This is Country
I Cross My Heart, I promise you
This is Country
And We do.
