Ending, you should face it
Pretending, you can change it
No matter what you do
It’s standing right in front of you

Why must you go
You are the only one I really know
As I see you pass by
You bring a tear to my eye

With the Good Father’s love
Only found from Up Above
Although once not
As family you are thought

This poem is inspired by the novel The Hiding Place by Corrie ten Boom. In this novel she forms some every close relationships during the time of Nazi Germany.
