The Swan

Swans.
quite white and graceful birds,
if i do say so myself
gliding through the gentle ripples of the pond
just like a canoe
Stunning and peaceful to gaze at,
with their curved necks creating hearts
and their feathers,
as soft as your favorite blanket
gentle, sweet creatures
with rare moments of aggression
their soothing honking sound
not too loud
and not too soft
related to the goose and the duck,
The pond is their playplace
their webbed feet,
and their radiant orange beak,
what isn't there to love,
about the Swan?
