Addiction, addiction,
Why do you keep on knocking my door?
A beggar, a pleader I have to ignore?
When I look into your eyes, what do I see?
Pure hurt and pain looking back at me.

Addiction, addiction,
Why did you pick me
To be the one to set you free?
I can’t go on like this, I simply can’t
So about my statement, I’d like to recant.

Addiction, addiction,
I’m done with you,
