Burning everything I touch,

But I found someone I can't burn.
But I effect him.
My presence is fire,
And it melts his heart of ice.
I tell myself to stay away.
I am hurting him.
But I know I fear getting hurt,
I just don't care for my pain anymore
It's dull now.
I can't hurt him.
My fire is fading.
What once made me an outcast is disappearing.
I realize it made me who I am.
It revealed a true friend,

It melted the pain away.
Now I am in too deep.
If I leave now,
I get hurt.
If I wait,
He will miss the fire and leave.
