February 16, 2017
I had
To prove
Exchange me
Undressed

As a teenage girl it is beyond hard to understand what love truly is. Love is what everyone wants so desperately, as there is always a hanging fear of being alone. But, often the ones that are striving to feel complete with love are being destroyed in the search. This poem indicates the struggle of losing the respect for themselves. As at the end of the poem the girl stops speaking. She loses her confidence, and feels more lost than before.
