Instrumental
The thin wire that I pluck is the size of a cello string
Each pluck making the string weaker and weaker before it comes out of tune
But every day I get up
Tune my instrument and play the same song
Every note getting longer and longer
Each note being fast and light then getting slow and dark
Until the end of the piece comes
And all the scary notes come to a finish
And now I must put the instrument back inside its case
Which can get hard sometimes
But when I wake again
I just tune my instrument to play the same song
