The dancer
I saw her dance
So graceful she seemed to levitate
A ballerina that had tamed gravity
She grew wings while she danced, soared across the stage
She entranced her audience with the way she moved
But me, I was amazed by her raw beauty,
Elegant and fierce, her steps were soft yet powerful
In moments I was on my knees asking for her hand
She was passion, I felt it ignite a fire within me
She captured the world, within her lens, fleeting moments, frozen in time
She was freedom I was warmed by her compassion, her strength and love for all
Refreshing, a touch of spring during a cold weary winter
What wondrous twisted fate brought her to me ?
Perhaps the stars guided her soft summer wind to find me
I’ll take her and we’ll soar over the oceans of the world
Tracing the surface with our hands, leaving behind ripples
echoes of our souls etched across the waters
