The Height Of A Fifth Grader
The Height of a fifth grader
Frustration is… My Height
It’s not being able to wear a dress without heels. It’s barely being five foot.
It’s having a 10 year old sister that’s almost taller than me. It’s having to stand on a chair or the counter to reach the top shelves.
Frustration is...
Using a step stool to reach the bottom of the washer. It’s having people literally look down on you.
It’s going to cook, but then turns into a workout climbing up and down the countertops.
It’s having to shop in the kids section, and never finding any cute clothes.
It’s the endless jokes people tell.
It’s being everyone’s armrest.
It’s not being able to touch the floor when sitting in a normal chair.
And it’s constantly people taking my stuff, holding it above my head…
And being told to “jump for it shorty.”
