Christmas, a cheerful time, our favorite holiday.
Waking up early baking throughout frigid day
We play together in the cold winter blizzard,
Although he could stand the cold much better than I.
We would separate if need be.
Begging to let him in.
His hands and feet almost frozen, he’s so content, never broken.
Pictures taken on holiday morning.
Smiling from tail to ear, always excited.
Eager to clear our plates, my childhood is complete.
He is my gift, my happiness, my pawed angel.
