I am the voice of the voiceless
My words
Leave lips
I think are my own
But I can't be sure
After the years closed
By the duct tape that was your presence
Silenced suffocated stifled
Lips still sticky from the glue
But my voice
Growing stronger
Is my own
I am the voice of the frail
My words
Leave lips
Sharpened like knives
After leaving my mind
Start a commotion causing huge explosions
Only I can see
I am the voice of the few
My words
Cause walls to crumble
Cities to tremble
My words
Sharpened by your hatred
The whetstone of your abuse
Look at the weapon you've created
I am the voice of the innocent
Yes I am the dog
But that doesn't matter
Called B!*** by the people
Who didn't seem to see
Yes I am the dog
But he is not my master
It's no misunderstanding
Once abused were harder to handle
My words
Will one day reach this world
Not as the din of a mangled mutt
But as the diatribe of history
My words
Once amputated
By the presence of a man
Drifted off into space
Now return at full throttle
My words
Will linger
In the thought of thousands
Tattooed on the skin of history
Blood and ink to end all misery
I am the voice of the voiceless
