My Answer
You ask me why I sing.
I sing because it just comes out of me. I sing because I couldn't go a day without it. I sing because anytime I feel an emotion, the first thing I do is turn to song. I sing because others tell me I can't, because others don't want me to. I sing because I believe every song means something. I sing because I've seen how music can change people's hearts. I sing because it's the only thing that gets me through. I sing because I want to share the things I've learned with others, and I want to learn from them. I sing because I want to connect with people, and music is universal. I sing because every note sung is another one that no one can ever take away. I sing because even when I've got nothing left, the music is there. I sing because I love it. I sing because there are two things that get me every time: the playing of music and the telling of stories. Combined, well...that's what stars are made of.
That's why I sing.
