The little fights are what had started it first
                                   higher
                higher
Piling up             and
   higher
than any building.

They knew that
it wasn’t just
      One
late pick up
It wasn’t just
       One
missed phone call.
It wasn’t just
       One
late night out
It wasn’t just
       One
too many drinks
where responsibility were forgotten.
It wasn’t just
       One
white lie.

Frustration.

The last push before falling
Screaming,
                    shouting,
blazing anger              radiating.
The heat
of two scalded people
sitting crosses legged
a mother, a father
hurting
a child confused.

Therapy.

Some things are
                           bended,
Some things are
    broken,
Other things are
                                                    shattered
Burnt into ash
Unrecognizable
Unable to be mended

Custody.

Parents fighting over a child
As if it’s
  A toy
Ready to be owned at the store.
Stress that is the oil fueling the blazing fire

Findling fingers
Knitted eyebrows
Sweaty palms
Trembling hands
Aching heads

A decision so big
Pondering a young child
age of just ten

A decision
Important
As life itself

Anxiety.

Gnawing away on the mind at night
                                              thinking,
     reflecting,
                                                            reasoning,
Waves of anxiety smashing
Taking conscious with it as it returns to the
dark depth of the ocean.

Time.

Tick tock
time is running up
Tick tock tick tock
The sound of the clock

Mocking.

Reminding.

Choices.

Decisions.

What
Is right?
