Swirl of Colors
I am matte black:
While my insides churn and unwind with remorse,
my exterior remains stone cold.
My face turns deep grey
Like the edges of paper when you light it on fire.
My spirit is firey-
I do not back down, no battle too big.
Victory is temptatious.
I am ocean blue:
Tears hit my cheeks like a basketball dribbles on the ground:
Slow, then fast, then slow again.
My emotions are a strong current,
devouring everything in sight.
They hide during the day, but when they return…
chaos fills the air.
I simply can not process them.
I need my mother to do that for me,
like when I was little.
