I AmThe Heyena
The Hyena wades through grass stalks
slowly approaching his stage, with his pack close behind
When he reaches the stage
he jumps up on the tall rock
The crowd gathers.
He grabs a stick
Puts it to his mouth like a musician about to sing a song
He speaks, letting the words flow
Like a river of words all coming together,
At once like water down a waterfall
All the hyenas crack up, and roll around laughing,
This hyena knows not what stage fright is,
He shouts out to let everyone hear his stories.
The comical mastermind has finished
He scampers off to hunt his prey.
