I wasted my years waiting for perfection, and when it was in my grasp I reached for it, and obtained it. Now that I have what is perfect by my side, I no longer desire it. I waited. I waited for so long to have someone respect me for more than my body and appearance, someone who would appreciate me with all my flaws and little quirks, and someone who treats me like royalty, and instead I am upset. I am upset that everything is serious, and on a schedule. He is everything a girl should want. He doesn’t make you feel like an object, he asks permission before holding your hand, and has the biggest smile when you walk into his view. But what is missing? I will tell you what I am missing. The fun, spontaneous, and carefree types of relationships you spend your days dreaming about. I have the rest of my life to be serious and mature, so why not live it up while I still have that dreaded excuse of “I’m young”?

I really think this got across how I have been feeling.
