Nothing Fits Perfect
There is this mold
A mold of perfection.
The more you fit
The more they like you.
It’s almost like
You’re pushing yourself in,
Eager for the attention
The way they make you feel.
The acceptance,
The feeling grows,
It grows into a need.
Pushing yourself to fit
It gets so close to
Seeming real.
If you don’t fit
You’re nothing to them.
If you do fit
You’re just like them
You are nothing.
