In the dark light I saw,
The frozen ground before me,
Its crust torn open, opening
Up
The abyss before me.
Down
The darkness leads,
My hand, leading me,
Down.
My bare toes, numb
My mind slips back,
..down..
Thoughts back to the sun of the spring,
Warming the heart,
Dissident;
Memory of the time I have spent,
Up.
Darkness;
…down…
has overcame me,
I can see in the night,
Blindness by day.
The dirt envelopes me now, being warmed
By my cooling body.
