RULES
ules, rules, rules
is all I see
telling me who or what
to be
like "if you're going to have a face, you better make it pretty."
I don't want to do the things you tell me.
"If you're going to have eyes, you better see what we want you to see."
I am the mistake in the code, though.
I will not be who they want me to be
"If you're going to have a voice,
DON'T YELL!!!!"
"If you're going to have a voice,
W H I S P E R (like this) at least."
"If you're not going to do that,
at least say what we want you to say,
what we want them to hear."
But here I am
S C R E A M I N G
The only person I can be is me.
I don't care
if that's not who you wanted me to be.
rules, rules, rules
they don't mean a thing to me
