Creamy Perfection

I pry three
perfectly round
creamy vanilla
scoops out of the container.

I put the scoops
in my favorite
plastic pink bowl
and drizzle the heresy
chocolate syrup all
over like I’m painting
a masterpiece.

Mixing the masterpiece
up is the most crucial
part of the process,
you have to blend
the ice cream
and the chocolate
to create a cosmic
collision of taste
in my mouth.

I eat my precious
masterpiece from
the melting outside
to the amazingly
creamy perfect
center.
