Goodbye
The last thing I remember is falling
Falling away from the only world I knew
I could see the rays of light shining through to me
I was going to a new world, far away
I was dying, I was dead, I just knew it
I was never coming back to the ones that I loved
They would be the ones to join me
I gave a very weak smile and said to the room
“goodbye” in my whispy low voice
Then everything went cold, and dark
I had just said my last goodbye
